Apple For A Teacher Project 2023

    Roof Contest MissouriIt has been said that “Teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions.” We at Prolific Exteriors believe this to be true and want to thank our teachers for what they do. At no other time in our history has teaching been as challenging as it is today.

    In addition to teaching our kids, they are expected to be a counselor, a confidant, a psychic, a parent, a doctor, a party planner, a comedian and dietitian. Despite unrealistic demands they handle these roles with class, style and love. Over the last several years, we have grown to appreciate what they do for our kiddos more than ever.

    We want to renew our commitment to the teachers of our area. We are continuing the Prolific Exteriors Apple for a Teacher Project again this year! This Project will award a deserving teacher from Mid-Missouri, a new roof for their home, at no cost to them. 

    We announced the winner in May.

    Our winner of the second annual Apple for a Teacher Project Lori Kostopolus at Prairie Home RV School, Home of the Panthers! Lori was nominated for this award because of her hard work and dedication as a teacher both inside and outside of the classroom.
     
    After meeting with Lori today, it was easy to see why she was nominated not just once, but twice! Lori’s big heart, love for her students, and contagious, positive attitude made her the perfect fit to win this award.
     
    Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, and sent in nominations this year. After a thorough review of your nominations, a board of retired teachers selected our winner.
